Sport Displays INDICATE hp and tq, but MEASURE WHAT exactly?
The Sport Displays show horsepower and torque and change maximum amount shown when MPPK is installed.
But what exactly does the Sport Display measure? Certainly it isn't hp or tq. Is it some predicted output based on a specific fuel flow, or position on the throttle map, or what? I think fuel octane is a part of it. I've never been able to get above 300 even though I have MPPK installed (330 peak) but can't get over 91 octane here in CA.
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I haven't seen it in other threads I've read.
