Also check idrive for setting that disables pedestrian detection temporarily.

Thank you. I did turn it off with iDrive. It it automatically turns back on when the car is started. Coding is the only option to kill the thing.
I just blew the dust off my manual, I’m going to clean the windshield and make sure a bug or bird didn’t make a mess in front of the camera.
