My 2014 50i just passed 88k miles. I've had to replace the spark plugs once at somewhere around 65k or 70k miles. I've also had to add the odd quart or two of oil between changes. Averaging 17.9 mpg, which I think is acceptable given the performance and size of this vehicle.
Overall, I really like the X5, but I LOVE the N63tu.
