Yes. I was actually surprised that the install requires separate brackets that requires so much drilling. I thought about not drilling at all and just rely on the VHB tape to hold it but given it is positioned on the car i wasn't sure if i have that much confidence with it holding nearly 3K worth of carbon fiber parts. Not a big deal. I guess one can remove the parts but you have to factor in getting the bumpers patched and repainted. BMW meant for this install to be permanent especially since it calls for using betalink which is near impossible to remove once its on.
