Correct, however while the TU did some great updates to the original N63, it still is subject to the excessive heat saturation that all hot-vee setups are prone to compounded by BMW still runs the entire platform extremely hot (oil at water temps at 220F+)

And out of all the of the parts they updated, believe or not the valve seals were NOT. The N63 and TU share the same part number for the valve seals.

The thermal management is better and the intake manifold design allows the the engine valve covers to breath more on the TU and not keep so much heath built-up inside, however you will find many TU's will suffer the same fate as the original N63, just on a little longer time line.
