Yeah tune should never have a effect as long as your check engine light is not on, though some of these guys who went catless / stage 2 have check engine lights on that can’t pass. Like pennsiveguy mentioned it will actually help in most cases, and believe it or not your mpg will actually go up , only trouble is it’s pretty hard to achieve that because who the hell with a tune on the vehicle is actually going drive the car like there grandmother.
