Had season tickets for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1981 through 1989. Saw them win the title in person (first 2 games) in 1983. Also saw some real wars between Boston and Philly.
Some great games players on both teams. Parish, Bird, McHale ... Erving, Moses, Bobby Jones.. Cheeks. was a great time for basketball.
The Bucks were good then too with Bob Lanier and Sidney Moncrief. ... and the Lakers with Kareem, Magic, Michael Cooper.... etc..
I guess that era is long gone...
