The British car industry would be deader than a Lucas electrical system if foreign companies didn't step in. Rolls Royce isn't the only name saved by BMW; Mini Cooper would be gone, too. Bentley wouldn't have survived without VW/Audi. Tata Motors of India owns Jaguar/Land Rover.
