Anyone done this? I think I’m getting too much flex in the center bearing support causing some weird noises under moderate throttle at low speeds. I was going to take it off and do a minor overhaul replacing both guibos, a new center shaft bearing, and an upgraded JXB Performance center bearing support.
Thanks.

Meh, not quite the same. Per RealOem, there are two flex discs and it looks like the insert nut and flange on the read diff doesn’t need to come off if just the driveshaft is coming off.

interesting, the other diagram does not have the guibo for the rear.
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=26_0280 Does it actually have the guibo on the diff side? Not near the car, so cant stick head under to look. |
