I noticed the GPS routes around nyc are quite bad. That's not the worst to complain about.
It seems late giving instruction. Was wondering how do you like feel about that? Is there a way to set instruction "earlier"? |

maybe it has something to do with the satellite?
Tall buildings usually block the location of the car relative to the satellite, hence "positioning " and could very well be the reason of delayed transmission of turn by turn instructions. Just postulating... |

I recently drove from MA to NJ. My issue was just how frequently the GPS attempted to re-route me.

I agree. The only thing I don't like that it doesn't have the traffic info for the smaller streets and doesn't use them for navigation. But overall it's doing pretty good job and I prefer it over Google Maps or Waze, especially taking into account that it's fully integrated into the car - you can use it on the go with less distraction and get directions on the HUD.
