Sources of oil leak dripping into cat?
I just replaced the VCG on my 2014 F15 with the N55 engine and everything went right, I'm sure that the VCG is not leaking any more, however I still see smoke in the engine area, very light, not the amount of smoke when the VCG was damaged, is any other source for leaking oil on the F15 or the burning oil is the remaining oil somewhere in the engine area? Thanks in advance for your help guys !

P.S. I had my own share of VCG and OFHG leaks back in my e90 days and I had enough of it. Partially the reason I went with n63tu rather than n55, as n63tu is a lot more robust (due to completely different design) when it comes to gasket leaks, water-pump failures and other common inline 6-cyl "features" (I know I shouldn't rub it in, but I couldn't resist lol) |
