HELP: Valve pin stuck in depressed position!

Rear driver-side valve is spilling air like no tommorrow. The pin inside the "TPMS vlave thing" is stuck in the depressed position. I am still under warranty but the tires and wheels are not stock (runflats grip was almost gone so I got some v710's and hankooks). U think the dealer will get this done under warranty or should I try "Joe's Tire Shop" somewhere else?

The valve stems in the TPMS sensors are the same as the ones in old school valves. Just drive by a tire place and have them fix it - 5 minutes and you're done.

Depends on how much it is leaking and where a garage is. I have a tire place about a half mile from the house and if the tire is holding air (but leaking overnight for example) than I'd go that distance.

I actually meant that he should remove the wheel from the car, put it in another car and drive it to a tire place.

The dealer would have done it for $50.

Actually, I'm surprised that they charged anything at all.

You can probably go straight to the back of any tire shop and any of the techs will change a valve core free of charge, or even for a couple bucks. If anyone needs valve cores just send a self addressed stamped envelope with .44 cents on it... these things cost barely more than paperclips
