X5 X6 50i executive package pricing???

is it just me or is this the biggest rip off package BMW offers?

normally you save a couple hundred when getting a "package" like getting the tech package in a X3 makes the HUD $1,000 while it would be $1,300 on its own...

All I want is the HUD and HK sound but you can't get those on their own, only way is in the package (this is not the case in the 35i)

package includes:
soft close doors $600
HK Sound $875
4 zone climate control ? can't be much as its part of a $1300 package on the 35i that includes comfort access and sat radio!
HUD $1000
Sat radio $250
rear shades $250
ceramic controls $650

So this package should be $3,875 tops, even if you look at the HUD as $1,300 no package discount thats $4,175 but BMW is charging $4,650 for all this???

I love the 50i engine, but almost want to get the 35i just because of this silliness by BMW.

Yes HK is available as option on 35i but not 50i.
Some one else only wanted HK on 50i, I suggested ask for Special Order ($300- $400 fee). Ask SA for HK. I asked for Speed Limit Info as it was not available in Canada and got it.

Yea, it sucks, but you have to pay to play for 50i. BMW knows its HUD is one of the best options out there, so you have to just pay the premium for the entire package.
