Hey guys just wanted to start my own build thread, have seen alot of these threads with M Sports so I figured it may be in some forum members' interest to see a non-MSport build. I'll be taking it slow so please bear with me

BBS SV2s wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assymettricos
Reflector delete
Auto Tecknic CF Fender Trims
///M CF license plate cover
///X5M Auto Tecknic CF Mirror caps (and ring) retrofit
Polar Blue start/stop button
Gloss Black front and rear roundels
Gloss Black X5 emblem
Blackvue DR750S-2CH with PowerMagic Pro
Aftermarket Non Msport OEM replica aero kit (ebay)
OEM M Performance grills
OEM M Performance spoiler
Suntek Carbon 18 tints on two front windows
Wrapped Chrome accents in Gloss Black Vinyl (lower front grill, rear bumper chrome trim, window trims) (Avery Dennison)
Wrapped Satin Aluminum rails in Gloss Black Vinyl
Painted Chrome T inserts to Gloss black
Painted Chrome tips in Gloss Black VHT High Heat

Disclaimer delete
Window open/close via fob
mirror folding with CA and fob
///M splash screen
Rear DRLs (outside, 50% brightness)

Love the color match of the wheels! Did you add the msport fender flares? If so, where did you purchase from? I'm looking to change these out in my xline.

thanks! I didn't add the fender flares - they come with the luxury line package i believe

That's right, I'm just now learning about the differences with package lines.

Why’d you change the wheels? Also, not diggin that blue button. Looks kinda strange with the wood grain.

Everything is mismatched. Chrome window trims, chrome grills, black X5 badge, black bmw roundel, 35i emblem. Everything clashes and there is no flow in my honest opinion.

Im working on it. Just need time. Chrome trims and rails will be wrapped soon. Grill will be swapped to M performance but it's tough since it's NV and I have to take the internals apart

Bought it CPO and had bad rotors in the back that were ribbed and getting worse. Got them replaced via warranty. Went back to stock so I wouldn't have any warranty claim issues

Lol no worries. I wasn't kidding when I said it will be a slow progress! Problems of living in NYC and no garage or tool access...throw in the busy social life too and mehhh not enough weekends!

I just got the wife a 2015 X5 non-MSport and I want to change out of few of the same things that you are tackling. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. Thanks for making this thread!

Updated pics of latest mods, here is all that I've done
Wrapped chrome trims in Gloss Black
Wrapped Satin rails in Gloss Black
Suntek Carbon 18 Tint on two front windows
Installed ebay OEM aero kit replica (with Space Grey painted accents)
M Performance spoiler (OEM)
M Performance grill (OEM)
Painted "T" inserts on front grill gloss black
Painted chrome tips gloss black with VHT high heat

for the M Performance Grill i swapped my original grill's internals to swap the night vision camera, It was originally in a greyish housing which i painted flat black (take a look at the close up picture and you cant really even tell). I think these updates give it a nice flow. I decided to keep the fender 50i trims because they dont really bother me, i kind of like it.
