Have you looked at bankrate? PNC gives good auto loan rates, too.

Can't trust most salesman, they will literally say anything for a sale.

I don't think the salesman is necessarily lying.
Interest rates have gone up since I got mine at 3.3%.
I would expect them to be around 4% though, not 5%.
Auto loans are secure, so it should mimic the home loan.
Car is also one-year old.

Maybe you can shop around and re-fi after you close the deal.

Yeah, but that has nothing to do with selling price of the car. Rates won't jump much in a matter of days without a fed announcement.

Bumping this up... I'm curious if you ending up buying a later model 50i, and if yes, what sort of deal did you strike?

I'm currently looking for a low mileage 2018 50i and dealers are deranged as to what a used/out of production/last generation vehicle is worth, especially now that used G05 selection is increasing by the day, many of which are priced very near 2018 F15's (I just don't think I'll ever like the styling of the G05, even after seeing in person and test driving, so I'm currently planning on an F15/F85).

Maybe Bill Jacobs BMW should have worked with you back in June when you posted this thread and tried to make a deal, they still have this same 2018 Space Gray 50i 2 months later and priced 4K less than what is was priced at in June (but the sales lady said there's only a 'few hundred dollars' of room' LOL!).

Here's one I'd love to own, spec is perfect for me, but the dealer wants 80K And it's in-service date was June 2018 so the warranty is just ticking away as it sits on the lot with no buyers. The ridiculous black wrap on the tailgate has been removed, but it was left on the top of the rear hatch, along with the limo tint

I wasn't able to get them to move. I have a bet with the woman I talked to that they wouldn't sell it over 60k.

Its silly to me that they say they have "hundreds" when everybody knows it's thousands at this point.

The international auto guys are tools. They fed me their silly line of "well, we have 61k into it and must get that out, or I will sell it to a wholesaler at that amount". Meanwhile they have dropped it 2k..lol.

Soooo anyone else curious why the lower rear hatch is black with the rest of the car being white and it's being sold for $80k as a cpo? Cmon BMW.

I have updated photos that were sent to me as I inquired about this one - they removed the wrap from the lower tailgate but not the rear section of the roof/top of hatch. And the windows still look like they're tinted at 10%. They did lower the price this week from $79,888 to $78,888 - it should sell fast now

All the black wrap, dark tint, CF mirrors, etc. - this car was a demo for the owner who apparently likes his stuff blacked out... that's what I was told when I inquired.

They also blew up my motor on my x5 and refused to fix it. !


Anyway check your credit union! I got mine for a little over 2% !



And yes laurel bmw was a class act compared to any of the other bmw dealers I've been to near Chicago and their new dealership is nice to.
