New Wheels

Coming up on the first anniversary with my 2017 X5M (full Dinan Package - 716hp) and am thinking about a new set of wheels for the summer. Any thoughts, ideas, comments? I'm not interested in $1500 per wheel options. Something I can sell at home to the Mrs...

I'm ordering Vossen VFS-1s tomorrow, ~700/ea. I don't feel like paying a ton for one-piece forged, hybrid forged (ie form flow) works for me just fine. I have a feeling that if I had one-piece forged, I'd be babying my car due to fear of the wheels getting scratched or dented.

With some "cheaper" ones, I can drive this thing like it's meant to be!

If you are considering the VFS take a look at the HF1 or HF2? Those are Vossen new Hybrid Forged and I think the finish looks better than the VFS!

I don't see the HF2 on the website. Not a huge fan of the HF1, it reminds me of an older Saleen Mustang rim.

VFS is hybrid forged too, just a few more spokes. Any more than that and I'd shoot myself with the additional cleaning time...

Here's a VFS-1 on an X5M... http://www.butlertire.com/gallery/BM...1_Wheels/10109

They look very nice!! I like that finish as well.

I do see your point on the HF1, they are more like a subtle stock look!!

Personal preference thing...

For the OP, take a serious look at hybrid forged. I had Forgestar F14 form flows for years on my E46 M3 with zero issues.
