You are not going to gain much from an intake. Some will sound louder and have more turbo spooling sound. 10hp and 0.10 reduction is all I measured from the Dinan intake. Very nice intake, but the factory intake has very low pressure drop (I measured that too).

Have you measured the RK intake yet?

No I have not. But , once you get to zero pressure drop....no more improvement is available.

One thing the RK design (or any open element design) will bring to the table is much, much better inlet sound.

I’d also get it to a dyno to confirm the health of the tune. With your two mods, the M should be crazy fast.

It could be where the bottle neck is.
You may want a less restrictive muffler.

But before that, do a dyno first like onfireX5 said.

My vote RK Intake. On the pricey side but the sound it makes. I truly believe it makes power. No dyno to support but I sold my Dinan for it

Car under load sounds completely different. Been trying to get to it for so long and never took the video. But think it’s time. I am running a full tune so my intake noise would be different. Under full load the car sounds like a jet taking off.

Paid like 1600 for it. Don’t remember. Got a slight discount as an early adopter. Think I was the second set on the chassis. Out of all the mods and money spent on the car this and the KW were the best money spent

Lol yup. Even the dinan isn't worth the $1100. All you're paying for is the CF not performance.

I agree that you won't see any hp gain, although intakes can improve the sound and throttle response.

They can. Although Dinan is minimal at best. RK does "sound" good.

Not necessarily true. I forget the name of the thread here, but someone put the Dinan on a flowbench and has hard numbers that it flows significantly more than stock. 571 vs 451 CFM difference. So in a pair, that's 1142 vs 902 CFM (nearly 20% difference). Now that isn't to say there's a huge performance gain, but it's data to show that Dinan is more than just CF.

I don't think he put RK on the flowbench as he doesn't have any to test...
