Go for it, that will complete the ///M conversion.

You need pics of the inside of the wheel, that will help determine authenticity.

BMW doesn't make wheels in Taiwan, never seen such a full info stamped on the rim, replicas I guess.Your pictures are tiny, so can't tell for sure but it looks like M logo is missing on the rims as well. Don't know if you can find the original weight of the bare rim, may be in ETK?
I think this is what you've got here

This is what a OEM BMW stamp looks like. (Not my wheel)
I agree, those aren’t OEM, keep looking.

Nice wheels; however, OEM is the way to go.

Hey, on 612m, the stamping isnt there like the other wheels and the engraving is actually very similar to what the OP posted. I picked up the same set from another seller here with a M car and it looks very very similar. I will try and get some pictures.

Not true. While I am not sure if all OEM 612M wheels have been made in Taiwan, some definitely are.

https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1157738

I own two sets of OEM 612M wheels and know for a fact at least one set is made in Taiwan.

Interesting, I haven’t seen any BMW wheels stamped like that, good to know. Thanks for the info.

OP, after reading the recent responses on here, those may be real OEM after all.

Those might be real oem rims lol, while you are rocking x5m look on a 35i.
Also, you have aftermarket x5m kit anyway, so why bother with oem rims lol? In you place I would consider some quality forged rims that would improve handling and dynamics. Unless the only thing you care is to fake x5m looks - then yes, go for 612m rims.

No idea. There's weight difference and then I'm sure rolling resistance comes in to play since they 612M's are wider.

It will use more fuel. Can't outrun physics.
