What is next best mod to do to my x5 (a poll)?

So this is my current state of car, sorry for car not been clean and grim weather, but I need a tip to what mod to do next.

I can do f16 knee pads, m-sport steering wheel, 6wb dash or wrap/black out chrome window trim? Only have funds and time for 1 mod. What will have biggest impact in your opinion?

Thank you

It would help if we could see what your interior looks like, and the end goal?

Ah, I completely forgot about that lol. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow, but it's a beige interior with poplar wood, stock steering wheel (non m-sport) - I found a similar picture from google

To be honest I'm not sure about goals - probably I just want it to look more modern, cozy and sporty at the same time - which is not possible with just 1 mod haha.

If it looks like that^ then I’d go for the knee pads. That’s a beautiful interior combo, wow. The knee pads will take it up a notch.

Thank you for the kind words sir! Knee pads do make that much difference in person eh? I just never saw them in person, but I can imagine they do change interior!

I feel that they bring a touch of class to the cabin. Here is a shot of my F16 interior, I think they look great!

The reason I chose the knee pad option is because you didn’t say if you plan to convert the rest of the interior to a sportier look. As in the CF trim, MPerf wheel, red/blue start button etc. The knee pads alone will have a bigger impact on the interior IMO.
The dash is nice, I had it on my F16 and it took some time for me to get used to the F15 cluster, but now I’m used to it. Not sure I’d go through all the trouble to do that mod. Read too many horror stories with it as well.

I would get the trim wrapped... never was a fan of the poplar wood trim.

I voted for the SW before seeing the car, prolly because I just swapped out mine however I think the biggest visual impact would be to wrap the chrome window trim black, kidneys too if they're not already

Black out that trim bro! Cheaper than the rest and you will love it every time you walk up to and leave your X. After that then the steering wheel. Then the knee pads. Don't waste your money on dash.

I totally agree with Mav and Violator on this one, blackout trim would have the biggest impact on that white exterior next to carbon diffusers. I have the same interior as you and I'm hoping to get my hands on the knee pads soon, still waiting for word back. If you're going for the classy upscale look on the interior definitely knee pads and M steering wheel. If sporty that you're after, carbon trim inside, including gear shifter, M steering wheel trim, door panels/dash!

1. Knee Pads (PIA to get hands on with napa/ivory combo)
2. Blackout Trim
3. M Steering Wheel

I voted for the Blackout trim option because that will give the most visual impact to other looking at the car. I also think it should've been done when you did the runners.

Kneepads were very close second. That interior combo is beautiful.

When/if you do the steering wheel, wrap the interior trim as well to complete the sportier look.

I you had any other color I would have said black trim, but the chrome trim don't look bad on white.
I think the 6wb will make the most change.

Wow, thanks guys! I didn't expect so much love and answers!
You guys gave me food for thought. I appreciate it!
All legit advises! Maybe I'll try to squeeze 2 mods if I'm lucky. I really regret not buying M-Sport to begin with - would have saved me money in the long run.

Poll for sure doesn't make it easier too lol

You touch and feel the steering wheel every time you drive the car, so that would be most important thing. Not some looks change.

I would have personally gone for the 6wb cluster as I am a "techy" kind of person. Once G05 came out it made the F15 interior look outdated to me. F15 exterior blows the G05 away. I 'm the guy that went with the G05 other than the diesel Unicorn. One reason being, if you change the cluster (even new cluster) it voids warranty as it represents the mileage. Two dealerships confirmed that to me. If you are out of warranty . yes. Not doing that for an 18. I still love the F15 and plan on getting my wife one to get best of both worlds. I visit this cause you guys are f@#%ing awesome. With all that being said......knee pads. Your X5 is beautiful, I would work on her interior.

No, the cluster wasnt the only reason I changed my mind on Unicorn, dealership was constantly lying , payments would have been like $60 less, wife getting F15, etc...

Saw your service records post and you're probably better in the long run.

Did you also go with the diesel for the G05?

M steering or knee pads, something you will touch and see every day.

Looking at the current poll results, not sure how much this helped. 😁

Really you can't go wrong with any or better yet, all of them.
