To me the M-Steering wheel would be a no-brainer to go along with your other M Sport mods at this point. I personally think it may be the sportiest part of the interior and that way you can add heat and paddle shifters! Go for knee pads next time then shawdowline wrap!

You are right, that should be on the list too. I thought about Eibach spring set, but I'm still not sure Eibach vs AC Schnitzer vs H&R.

Dash is the coolest one but it's pricey, my vote goes for knee pads, got mine installed and after a month I can't believe they were not there before.

Thanks Ben, I don't mind used, it's just right now I'm leaning towards M-Sport steering wheel or knee pads. Knee pads are almost impossible to source in Canberra Beige or Ivory, so I'm guessing I have 2 choices - locate some forum members x5 with knee pads, befriend him and steal knee pads when he lets his guard down or just go with steering wheel for now. Decisions, decisions...

I'll definitely contact you for springs if I'll decide to go for them.

Or you can find a friend with an X6 and convince him the next Mod trend for the f16 is the Knee Pad Delete.

I also thought the suspension would be a good option, but wasn't on the list.

Well what did you end up going with? I'm also eager to swap my steering wheel out for an M steering wheel... Just worried about the amount of work involved. And which wheel exactly? There are so many on eBay.

I was thinking about getting that done with 3M CF... I wonder how much... I need to ask around.

If you're doing the shifter or any other interior part in gloss carbon, it won't match the 3M matte carbon. I'm not a huge fan of the 3m stuff and gloss CF wrap never really matches the real thing.

I voted for 6wb. It's the part of your car you look at the most, along with the steering wheel (which would be second option)

I am not a fan of the knee pads -- to me, they cheesy-up the consol. Go for the steering wheel an forget the techy instrument panel and keep the silver trim. Oddly, the silver trim is the upgrade choice for Porsche 911 -- at least when I ordered mine. D
