The clips are not secured. I had the same gap when I installed my m performance diffuser thought I had a defected one but after carefully pushing it in with the palm of my hand from left,mid then right you can hear it latch on which then sits flush.

Dealer actually took them off and reinstalled them, same gap. Or should I not trust that they removed and reinstalled it?
I did see this on a couple of X6 without the M sport. |

Even though its non m sport the clips have the same function its defintely not normal. If it can't be pushed in correctly it could be due to an accident which then the dealer should replace.

Called in BMW NA and they will schedule a person to take a look at this.
Is there anyone who has the non M sport X6 that can comment on this gap and if they see it on their car as well? |

I have a fully loaded Pure Elegance 50i edition... I have no such gap... All of the panels are super tight where they join... Yours is definitely messed up for sure.. I will post a photo.. I hope it helps.. Good luck.
