Using stock 788 Wheels for my winter setup. What tire sizes should I go with?
I know a square setup is more desired for winter but I only plan to use the car when there is no snow on the ground. Maybe up to an inch if really needed so this is mostly for cold weather here in the NY/NJ area.
With that info, does it make more sense to run 255 square setup and risk exposing the rear rims? Or should I just run 245/265? Would love to hear from people who have run 255 in the back and hear how the rim has held up.

A 255 might rub in the front also, not sure. There have been reports with M2C of rubbing with stock 245 PA4 in the front due to the tread block shape / height.
I'm also undecided on this. I sometimes wonder if 245 in the rear is enough considering most days it does not snow. |

I’d run stock. If not using in snow you want good cold weather traction, OEM is best then.

Square set-up's are great for guys that use the car a LOT because of the ability to rotate them, and there is more grip because of the skinnier tire in the rear. However, if you're not logging a lot of miles in deep snow, I'd recommend the OEM sizes, as they fit perfectly, and will last without heavy use.

Yeah, I wouldn't do 245 on the stock rear wheels. I would buy 4 front wheels of some type or an aftermarket option like Apex etc.

I am in north NJ. I beat myself up over this last year when I first got my M2C. I ended up just doing the Michelin PA4 with 245/265 setup on the stock rims. I was going to be buy winter rims for this season as Apex has some available, but not sure it is worth the cost. I have had my car for 9 months and am just under 4,000 miles.
