I loved driving it, the sound, engine and seats and looks were my fav. The OEM Continental RF were trash, they wore so quickly, changed over to the PS ALL season 4 the last few years and those were much better. Other than that I did change to the M performance brakes, the stock grey brakes were ugly. If the car had the self highway driving thing (auto steering) and remote start car from app for winters I probably would have kept it. Also FYI my purchase price was 91k back new and then sold in 2023 for 29k. |

Honestly, not sure how you were able to move to another brand after this time. I did try many times buying different brands for SUV like Toyota, Honda, Lexus ..even Mercedes... I hated them after couple of months of driving. I sell and come back to either BMW or Porsche ... My people around me think I am crazy for buying these cars...but if you are not a car person, I guess you wont understand.. |

I still have my BMW M2 Competition and still enjoy that car and probably won't get rid of it in the foreseeable future (maybe get the M2CS), Tesla gets a lot of slack, but the model X as a family SUV has been nice for our needs and the family loves it (was between that and the X7). Also have a Focus RS, I am not too dedicated to a brand, tend to just go with what I like in terms of looks and how it drives. |

I saw this one on CL Seattle... I know, wrong coast for you. But heavily optioned, low-ish miles, and in your price range. Don't know what the Carfax says though.

Update: After Shopping the last few months for an ideal combination of mileage, price and options I pulled the trigger on a 2017 xdrive50i. It has all the goodies I want, Including extended leather, mileage is reasonable at 54,000, and I got a warranty for two years and 25,000 miles on the motor and drivetrain.
As I originally stated, it’s not my first rodeo with the X5 And I know it’s not a matter of if something goes wrong, but when and they’re typically expensive to fix, so I expect that the warranty will pay for itself in time. That said, I’m glad to officially be a part of the F15 club and it’s onto the mods. I’ve been driving her for a week now and I’m really asking myself “who the hell would want more power than this?!?!” It’s weird but in 8 out of 10 situations it feels as fast as my E70 X5M. Maybe that has to do with the transmission. Pulls to 130 mph happen in a blink. It’s a seriously fast machine for its size. That said there is a massive difference between an M sport vehicle and an actual M car. My E70 X5M steering, suspension and brakes made it feel like it could run circles around this. In fact I’m a bit disappointed, actually I’m very disappointed in the way this F15 handles by comparison. It’s good overall but boy that E70 X5M left a mark. Without further ado, here are some crappy driveway photos. I’m so happy to be back officially!

Those brakes are a must. I really miss how aggressive my old X5M brakes were.

25,000 mile warranty on the motor and drivetrain. OTD, she was about $30K even. All things considered, being an xdrive50, mileage, color combo, warranty and condition, I think I got a pretty fair deal. I’m happy overall with it
