Pass, 60k adm ruins it. GT3 market is down huge. You didn’t win the lottery dude, the dealership is just trying to make it seem that way. Only do it if you are ok losing at least 100k (60k adm, tax, interest) if you decide to sell imho.

60k adm is a bit high but I suspect it would peak this summer as allocations dry up and nothing will be available for the next 2 years
The Msrp on my car was 226k and I paid 258. Was an easy decision at 32k over with ppf thrown in The other thing to understand is that Porsche will absolutely jack the base Msrp again. A 2024 with the same spec as mine is 243k now! |

This exactly. If OP is not yet a millionaire at 45, this purchase will guarantee he never gets there. I'm all for driving what you love. But even at the same age (46 next week) and several times his Net Worth, just setting $80k on fire (over $100k including interest) and then spending another $220k on top of it would be....a significant impediment to my financial future.

That ADM is setting money on fire. Check out the market price for the GT3.

I’d tell the dealer to take that ADM and shove it. 10-20k max adm. Other than that, kick rocks.

I think it was Cammisa who said that every Porsche GT car should come with a free Miata, so you can learn how to drive fast before you actually try to do so.

$60k ADM fee? LOL to that, that dealer is just pimping that allocation out to whoever gives him an amount closer to that $60k ADM.

I paid ADM once. I happened to be getting an oil change on my 2016 Mustang GT and they had a 2017 GT350R that just came off the truck. The guy who ordered bailed and the car was in the spec I would have ordered. It had a 7500 ADM and I paid an ADM of 5k. I’d never do it again but as luck would have it, the prices went nuts 4 years ago and I made it back, then some.
I agree that 60K is insane unless you have an unlimited budget and just have to have it. I think it’s a bad move but only you decide what is right for you. |

I’ve watched some really insightful videos on Porsche dealership tactics. When they have a GT3 allocation, or any special 911 variant, they call through their list and start high with the ADM - and if no one takes, they lower it and call through again until some fool - or someone with FU money - bites.

60k is the deal breaker. no way.
as a 991.2 gt3 owner myself i would sway you towards this car. under 200k for a very nicely specced one. you get the same engine, same weight, same gearbox, same overall shape.. the extra 100k isn't worth it for some added downforce, ITBs, and double wishbone front suspension. they are only calling you because they've been through 5 other guys who also told them to kick rocks on the 60k adm. they will eventually find a sucker though

Rather look at exotics near that price point Pound for pound the monetary value craters when getting into a P-Car . And no one wants a base 911 after a G8X , doesn’t make sense At the very least a well optioned S , GTS (sweet spot for me) , & finally GT3 being the ultimate goal. I’d daily it … no facks given & enjoy every single mile.
