As promised, FA & VO Coding video is up. Sorry, I spoke a bit fast because I had an energy drink this morning! I apologize for that. If I sound too fast, just follow the PDF that is in the OP under FA & VO Coding because that is what I used side by side to show you everything; it's very straight forward and what I used to learn. Thanks and happy coding everyone!

Just an update to the OP. For Variable Light Distribution, all you have to do is remove 8S4 from your FA, then VO Code BDC_Body. This is for both LED and Bi-Xenon.

I can do it remotely for you via TeamViewer as long as you get the cable, software, and token. All of that is in the OP. From my search across the entire BMW coding thread, it does not seem likely anyone is near you, unfortunately.

LED Lighting
Not sure that this changes everything but the following is listed on my VION sheet report on BMWarchive.org
S5APA Decodierung blendfr. Fernlicht Assistant Decode antiglare High-beam Assistant S8S4A Decodierung variable Lichtverteilung Decoding variable light distribution This suggests that these two items have been decoded out of the factory. Let me know if this makes any difference to the conclusion about the anti-dazzle. |

You might have a Euro spec car and your headlights may have the Anti-Dazzle just like CatFlaps...lucky you. Test it out when you get it and let us know.

Has anyone checked on realoem.com to check to see if there are different versions of the led headlamps?
I'll record the part number of my headlamps in the morning for reference. I do remember that they're made in Mexico.

I even looked and the M-Sport steering wheel has an extra white plug for the Euro airbag as opposed to the single plug for US airbag.

I think I skipped a few pages here and there, but not sure if it was mentioned.
Tokenmaster is such a cool guy, look at his post, he listed all those goodies that you can do without a token. https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh....php?p=8481753

I think it's for those who have the cable (somehow from someone) and don't want to hunt for a token, or even better for those who paid for a token and it expired.. And especially useful for those who just want to read their codes/back up CAFD's, etc.. like @MattBianco who asked his dealer to code, but now he is not sure if they did, and if so which ones are working. Is the rear DRL an actual hardware that exists but disabled in USA or does US Spec vehicles just use brake lamps as drl? Because I noticed there is a tiny red light on euro spec tails (the ones with amber turn signals).

Rear DRLs are the actual lights that light up at night when your headlights are engaged. The tiny bright red light in Euro vehicles is the rear fog light, which I think is illegal in our country and also would not work if you coded it because it would throw an error due to missing hardware.

There aren't that many lights in the back, so rear DRL is actually as if we turned on our parking/low beams? Thanks.
