Why have they gone and made it look like a big x1 ??? Back is horrible. Front is ok - only just. Back window looks deliberately off / not lined up properly or something ??? Really strange. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but this really does seem a bit off and makes me scratch my head. Ideal scenario would have been all the great new features in a more e70 type body (i.e. touch pad , interior , cool new front lights, side air intakes , bigger grill, more slanted/ sporty side crease). Looks kinda big, nice and expensive feeling but not something naturally pleasing. Sort of what I feel when I look at all mercedes SUV's and the Q7. A lot of people didn't like bangle straight off the bat but I did. I might grow into it maybe.

Reminds me of a Q7/ML/feminine grocery getter. Wonder if the MSport will look more masculine. I'm not a woman and don't have kids. This appears to be a bit "mature"...

NVM - I think in the specs on the previous page, it is wrongly stated as 170 - 230 lbs. It should infact be 170 - 230 kgs

Still Processing.............. I'm trying to squint from seeing the " Kia Sorento like" rear C pillar and window design. I owned an E53, and like the E70 they were standouts. From the looks of this model in pics at least, appear to be an evolutionary update as opposed to an all new model. Interior i love, is that Cohiba Brown, well what ever it is i like. But again still processing on the exterior. I was kinda hoping for something all new akin to the F25 which this does not resemble in any fashion or perhaps even the new Range Rover Sport even it is markedly different from its predecessor.

Math does not add up
F15 50i = 2175 * 2.2 = 4785 lbs E70 50i = = 5379lbs (on bmwusa.com)

Like it... but think I will LOVE it when the M-Sport photos arrive! Look at the press photos of the 07 X5 in base-model or non-sport versions and they don't look nearly as nice as the M-Sport or even Sport versions.
Interior is amazing. NVM - I now see on Page 1 the M-Sport and M50d - LOVE IT!!
