Nah, just jack the rear up , undo bolts, pull OEM bar out. Easy peasy.

How has the upgraded sway bar changed the driving dynamics?

Worth the investment in your opinion?

Definitely worth the investment. Car seems much more planted at speed , I recommend this for every car no matter the level of build.

Going to try and head back to the track one last time this coming friday and have been doing some data analysis to prep.

Since I haven’t shared this before, here’s a log to show some data on kill mode. Steady boost control, holding almost 24psi til redline , with fuel trims where you want them to be. 14.5 degrees of timing on this pull with E80 fuel in the tank.

Fingers crossed for this Friday. 🤞🏽

Car is officially back in my possession with a squeaky clean and leak free underside, plus some upgrades .

With that said, the rear right BC shock is leaking so a full suspension overhaul including all front arms and such coming in the spring. Now the question is:

KW V3s or AirLift? 🤔
Do you have any symptoms with the leak or just happened to notice it? I have a weird clunk noise coming from my rear right, so wondering if mine is also.

No symptoms, found the shock leaking when I was under there. Knock is likely a thrust arm bushing or sway bar endlink. Rear endlinks are a cheap and easy fix.

Ended the season on a high note yesterday. New personal best yet again, 11.4x index broken. Just some better DA from last time to this one. Can still adjust launch strategy a bit, do some additional lightweighting and size down a whole inch in tire.

Slowly but surely getting there.

I’m glad it’s entertaining enough for you to want to finish reading it later!

So sukh, I need some tips on launching. After putting it off for a long time I finally finished up my custom tune through Jordan Tuned, and the car is running great. Holding 18-18.5 psi all the way to redline on 93 pump gas. However, I’ve tried a few 0-60 runs on my Dragy and the best I’m managing is consistent 4.9s. I’ve been using launch control and leaving it in sport automatic. It feels like boost builds before launch, then bogs massively right after launching before it starts pulling hard. I’m also using the OTS XHP stage 3 trans flash.

I know there are a couple things holding me back. First is my 22’s. Although they are about the same weight as the OEM wheels, the tires I chose are almost 1” larger in diameter. Nothing I can do about that, I love the look! The other thing is my exhaust situation. Currently I’m on the stock downpipe. I may have to try the catted downpipe I was running before to see if it makes a big difference, just didn’t care for the gas smell.

Long story short, let me know how you’re launching the car. Launch control or just brake boosting, first or second gear, custom settings, etc. Also, if you feel like the Sutphin trans tune was worth any time. Might try throwing the downpipe on this weekend to see how much it improves the 0-60, you know, for science haha.

Alright, let's get your launches dialed. Good call out on the taller tire, I'm glad you're already in the know about that affecting the time so there's that.

My launch strategy has always been 2nd gear, manual mode, brake boost with foot to the floor, mash the accelerator and let off the brake when the rpm's hit about 2800rpm.

The reason for this is because you'll hit a torque limiter sent by the tcase if you stand on the LC too long so to bypass that, you do the 2nd gear brake boost and let off in the right moment, in our case around 27-2800rpm so the car actually lets go at 3k because of the slight delay in the brake pedal.

I've also always manually shifted. On the stock turbo, I was shifting no later than 5500rpm because of the way the torque dropped off but on the Mosselman, I'm shifting at 63-6500rpm because it can hold the boost properly.

Try that, let me know. Feel free to DM me, always open.

EDIT: if you're not already, grab a data log of a pull so we can review it and see what we can work on based on the data.

Thanks man, I appreciate the detailed info. I’ll give the second gear start a go next time I have an opportunity. Hopefully that’ll help solve me bogging out of the hole. I’ll try to grab a log as well.
