light colors do not go well with this mode. dark colors are ok. overall the car is not better looking than outgoing model. Poor job, BMW.
p.s. considering all late models - BMW who is in charge of design over there? really? I cant believe these cars get approved. I wont be surprised that cheap cars will soon look better than BMW... Please look at MB and Audi who although got softer, are still trying to maintain that premium design look. thanks... |

Wow. I can't believe this, the back is ugly as hell. I'm still digesting the front. Of course the inside is great, BMW has been trying to improve their interior in the last 3 years or so. But men, this is not better than E70, it's worst. The sportiness is gone.
Lucky you E70 owners. |

It doesn't look as taught and muscular as the E70. Maybe that'll change when I see it in person, but overall, it has a bulkier and bloated presence.
It's good that it's lighter than the outgoing model -- good to see BMW slowly turning the ship on weight. The "X5M50d" naming convention is a fiasco, though.

Glad to see the obligatory "glad I got the E70 posts" from the E70 owners..Y'all make yourselves feel good - whatever it takes (of which my wife is one of you!) I think with M Sport the F'15 is is going to be front and center of my next vehicle consideration...Just hope it steers better than E70 and the new generation electronics remove some of the E70 quirks too...

Back to the OP, I like it. It grew on me with it's X3/1 rear end and HUGE kidney grills but I think it's handsome. I do feel like I see some Q7 elements mixed in there. Same how you can see some B8 A5 elements in the new 4 series.

not happy with BMWs shift toward wider axles. leading to high offset wheels. doesnt look like these will have ridiculously concave wheels like the E70 did
