the toyo are great. awesome traction and very stable in the snow. also, the 315 rears look nice and wide from the rear

Since your not only in Canada, but in Ontario. How much did they run you?

Only thing about the MPE exhaust I am not really pleased about is the popping or backfired after each revs... Other than that I like the sound.

Guys, really interested in knowing what setup you did for winters and how much it cost. Hopefully our depreciated currency isn't going to kill us on the price of tires and rims.

I used my stock gloss black 20" wheels and put on some non runflat toyo gi5 in factory sizing. Tires were about 1500 installed

Very weird. Mine doesn't backfire at all

That's on cold start when reving. When driving in comfort it almost sounds stock with a slight exhaust note from inside. Actually much louder when outside the vehicle. In sport mode, the shifts between gears are more aggressive and make a "blurp" or what are commonly known as "farts" very simular to a sequential gearbox. Zero backfiring or burbles from the cabin. Will compare how it sounds after mppk

With the MPPK and in sport mode it pops a whole lot with the MPE. not much of the sound makes it into the cabin but you can hear it if you have the radio off or the windows open.

The MPE sounds great free revving but not so much when you are standing outside listening to the exhaust while the car is driving away. Personally I'm not a fan of the MPPKs programming to make the exhaust burble and pop in sport mode when you let off the throttle. In a M3 yes, X5 no....

Good to hear that. Just realized when you rev it, it sounds like a bit less-throaty version of the S65 AMG. Very nice!
