headlight looks bad.
Also the back bumper with the silver plastic does not look very high quality. Even the new Mercedes front looks better and back. I thought never that I will not like the X5 anmore. Luckily I have the X6 now and the new one will look much better.

Nooooo. Front looks more "rugged" than the outgoing model but the rear totally ruined what would otherwise be a great looking SAV.

My...what huge headlights you have! Fog lights too. They should call it the BMW X5 Durango Edition. Where are you guys getting your designers from these past few years, BMW? Do they know the first thing about elegance? Doesn't look like it.

So ugly! I just ordered an X6 M50d and my worries that the 2015 model would be nicer just vanished If I'm not mistaken the chief designer (Bangle?) quit and now I'm not really liking the new designs. The 4 coupe looks like a ford to me...

Has anyone noticed (also visible on camouflaged prototypes) that xenon headlights go together with halogen foglights (as previously) but if you take the new LED headlights you also get LED foglights?

It looks really bulky. This is an oddly obvious thing to say, but it looks like a large X3 instead of an SUV in its own right, like the current X5 does. I'm a bit disappointed.

It looks lighter somehow, than the E70, which still looks fresh imo.

Seriously? First the SQ5 will compete with the X3 M Sport, not the X5. Second the Audi Q5 is one of the most boring designs out there, and their "s" versions hardly change anything (just add a few extra pipes). The QS5 will be a nice car overall but no one is cross shopping it with a X5.

And people are suprised with the looks of this car? 3 series front, X3 rear, what did you expect? it still looks very similar to the current X5 with a few changes. I won't judge until I see it in person.

It actually would be ok if the rear would look like the X3, but at least the rear lights look even more like the X1, which is not a good thing IMO.
