Yeah they slide for sure especially sharper turns. But for cruising they're pretty good. They're far from perfect.

I keep chains for the really bad conditions.

Perfect. Same setup as mine, I really cant recommend the Eibach enough. They keep the ride quality of the factory with much less body lean on corners. And they are very cheap only â‚¬140 from germany. So can't go wrong with Eibach's.
