I think you are referring to the fender flares?

Yes I was! The fender flares, is that an easy install?

Should be relatively straightforward. There have been some others who have done it. I'm sure if you do a search there may be some guidance on how to install/acquire.

The flares can be had on ebay for pretty cheap. Seems like I paid around 250ish. I would link you with the ones I purchased but looks like that seller is no longer around on ebay. Just search f15 X5 "wheel arches" or "fender flares". I didn't care for the black primed look so I had them painted mineral white by a body shop to match. Seems like I paid close to $400 for the paid. It was a bit more since mineral white is a 2 stage paint (with flake). Installed them myself, which wasn't to difficult. Upgraded to 22" replica wheels with wide tires as well. Wheels & tires were sitting flush with the OEM fenders, but when I upgraded to the fender flares the wheel offsets were pushed in a bit. Solved that with wheel spacers. All said and done she's got a fat ass with a really aggressive stance which really makes the car standout amongst other xline's.

good day for the car. Vibrant oval muffler installed, oil change, alignment , and bought a bootmod3 Stage 1 93oct tune but ran out of time to flash it so going back Monday.

You're welcome. You got me thinking I haven't even posted pics of the car since the fender flares have been painted. I'll clean her up and post some pics soon. I did stumble across this old photo. You can see my X5 with OEM 19's and the OEM xline wheel arches

Then you can see the beefy back tire that was soon to be installed. The pics don't do it justice in terms of how wide they were in actuality. I remember when the tires showed up I was like "how are these beef cakes going to fit" lol. They fit rather nicely!

Highly recommend the Blendmount hardwire mirror tap. Takes about 20 min to install and is cheap.

saga continues with my BM3 Stage 1 tune. Tried to flash it late Friday but didn't get the unlock of the DME back in time. Today we found out my firmware is so new that we have to send it to Chicago to unlock it. So the wait continues while we plan logistics. Ugh.
