Threw on the maxton rear diffuser finally. Easy install, fits good. Definitely needs a quad tip exhaust to match the aggressiveness though. I'll probably do that here in the coming weeks

I would just black out the tailpipes (black chrome) and call it a day. Never was a bit fan of quad pipes on the F15 M Sport.

I've always liked the maxton rear diffuser better than any other diffusers out there
This looks real nice!
The Canada site has 4-5 month delay so that's why I never ordered it, been debating on if I wanted to wait that long
Did it come with hardware, I was told it would but also suggested to use 3M tape or glue? Did you need to use either of those?

Im actually going to be doing a quad tip exhaust to mine in the next week; I really like how aggressive it looks
Especially seeing some members here who posted their quad tip mod
Looking forward to the maxton rear + quad tip mod if you ever end up doing it

It didn't come with anything. I just got automotive 3m extreme tape and lined most of the inside. There are 4 bolts on the underside of the rear bumper that you need to drill holes in the diffuser for. Realistically it's a 30 minute install. Pretty straightforward, just prep the area you are throwing the tape on

They just aren't aggressive enough. I think I've had quad exhaust on all of my modded cars, I've always been a fan. Well see

Finally had an opportunity to give her a proper wash, clay and wax since buying her 3 weeks ago.

It was my first time using Griot's Synthetic Clay and Ceramic 3-in-1 and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Looking good!!

I used the new Griots Ceramic All-in-One which goes on with an orbital and orange pad on the M3 and M5. Today I did the X5. I am very impressed with the product! It takes out swirls and light scratches and leaves a mirror finish.

That looks awesome. As someone who has never used an orbital on a car before, how difficult is it? I'll admit, I'm hesitant to jump into the deep end for fear of totally messing the paint on my X5.

Did you have to do any coating (either wax or ceramic 3-in-1 following the All-in-One?

You don't have to use anything after, just the All-in-One. As long as you have a decent quality orbital and pads (I use a Griots) you really can't screw up. I have used it for 3 step, doing compound, then polish, then sealer and have never had an issue.

There are several good videos with tips for a novice. I try to work a 2 or 3 foot square area using horizontal then vertical passes, slow and steady with light pressure, medium pressure if I have an area with swirls or scratches. Again, with the right machine and quality product it is almost impossible to damage the paint.
