I wouldn't install it if you were looking for better mpg. I can guarantee you that most of us get the chip to have more usable power and with that comes a heavier foot and with that you already know. What's the point of getting the chip if you don't want more power so you can use it?

I was getting 34/35 MPG at 75+ MPH with the cruise set.
Update (name changed just in case)...apparently the fault code on mine is "something they have never seen before"...Ill keep you guys posted.

guys, the car is amazing. We made it from SC to AZ so far (1956 miles) and I am very pleasantly surprised. Nor me or my wife feel tired, we were able to get a bit over 700 miles on one tank and many more observations but I will type them up after we get to California.
I installed the tune when the car had 6 miles on it and followed hard break in procedure. Car feels strong and I am in E/2 setting. Last edited by greentrbo95gst; 06-09-2014 at 01:48 PM.. |
