Thanks again Shawn. The coding community wouldn't be nearly as big or successful without all your time and efforts.

I did some coding today with mixed results. I have a Canadian X5 built in February of 2015. I am using the esys and psdzdata for the 55.1+ idrive software. Since this is my first time, I thought I would try something obvious to make sure I know what I am doing. I coded both the tire pressure and temperature in the vehicle status screen, and the removal of the idrive disclaimer. When I was done coding, the idrive screen automatically rebooted. I then immediately got the disclaimer message, and found no pressures on the vehicle status screen. I then tried shutting down the vehicle, and this didn't make any difference either. Finally, I thought that the idrive needed to go to sleep first. I'm not sure how long it takes to go to sleep, but it has been left off for around 45 minutes. This also made no difference.
Does this make sense to anyone? Is there something obvious I did wrong? Thanks, Jeff |

Canadian build does not have tpms sensors in the tires. It's monitored by rolling circumstances and speed to tell you it's flat.
You won't be able to have tire pressure information unless you buy sensors and have them installed. |

There are three disclaimers that need to be removed.
I just recoded my x5 again. First time it took me 2 hours but the second time went much faster so did it in about 45mins to 1 hour. The M vehicle sports gauges looks so much nicer compared to the stock orange. I normally don't like to show that screen on the idrive because it didn't look nice but now it looks great. One of my favorite things coded. Alan |

Can any other Canadian confirm this? I thought Canadian F15s now come with tpms sensors in factory wheels. I have a set of E70 winters that I was about to mount tpms sensors on.

Question about coding VLD via FDL. After coding this I noticed that whenever I turn on my led fog lights my driverside headlight beam pattern shifts over more towards the right/middle of the car. When I turn off the fogs it shifts back over to the left. Never noticed this before coding. Is this how VLD works?

Hard to tell from the pic but the gauge now lights up in full red color instead of orange
For some reason the camera made it look orangy but in person its pure red which looks much nicer.

I added Internet via Connected Drive Store- "BMW Internet enables you to access the World Wide Web when your vehicle is parked.”
Is it possible to change this to work while driving via coding?
