is there anyone here that absolutely dislikes their job but knows it pays well so they continue doing it...? i've worked in the corporate world for 12 years but despise it so much that I would gladly take a 50% cut tomorrow if I could work for myself 40 hrs a week w healthcare benefits...

I have a law degree from a T30 law school, never worked as an attorney and if I could redo it again, would never go to law school. I ended up in contracts management. The funny thing is I make more than most practicing attorneys (save for big law and corporate in house counsel). Is my degree useful in my trade? Maybe a little. On the job experience is much more useful than education for contracts management. Regardless, I don't like my job just in it to make money and retire by 55.
