Backup Camera: Reflection from license plate lighting

Hello guys,

after my backup camera had broken, i had to replace it with an original one.
I replaced the button and clipser with original too. The rear view camera was professionally programmed and calibrated by BMW (Germany). But the rear view camera still getting reflected from the license plate light at night. As a gesture of goodwill, a new rear view camera was installed because they thought the new one was also defective. But nothing changed. The license plate lights were not coded brighter. What could be the reason?
