There is no drone. It's quite an improvement over the stock exhaust, but not quite as aggressive as tazma's video. I did not replace the perforated sections, but now wish i had.
My exhaust valve seems to not be working and is stuck in the closed position. As the whole point of this mod was to route all the flow to the valved exit on the right, I'm hoping the exhaust note would be perfect once i get it fixed and set to "always open". I will post a video after getting valve fixed, as theres not much point now. I got it done at a local custom fabrication shop for around $530 usd total |

See my previous comments. there is a part you can get with a simple 2 button keyfob. $200 or so. Most MPE modded 335s run this part. VCS-1

$500 for this mod? Might as well fork up another $500 for MPE.

you're right but everyone's situation is different. the whole purpose of mpe is for sound with no realizable gain in hp so if this can accomplish somewhat the same at half the price, why not?
and prices for this will vary depending on shops and locations

I love it, no drone at all. It's not that loud actually, just a much more aggressive tone than stock.
To the guy that asked me why I would spend 500$ on this. It achieves my needs of a decent sounding exhaust at less than half the cost of the MPE exhaust. Also, I went to a custom fabrication shop that does very good welding. You can get this done at any exhaust shop for a cheaper pric |
