Of coarse there is always KBB which will get you pretty close also. Good luck with your sale. ?

2015 X5 - Is this price okay ?
Well , I am almost on the verge of signing the dotted line but still thought of checking on this forum .
In NJ , I am getting X5 with a list price of $65,375 . I was able to get 10% off of the list price . Features : Premium Package , Cold Weather , Driver Assistance , Driver Assistance Plus, Running Boards , Harmon Kardon , Dakota Leather , Metallic Color . No other dealer in the North East region was ready to do 10% save for one which was doing 10.5 but didnt like the options on this car . Any thoughts or suggestions ?? |

I think if you review this thread you will see that any sale at 7% or more off of MSRP is a great deal. Here in Florida I purchased my wife's 2015 Z4 for about 6.2% off of MSRP and the dealer would not budge off of that price (I know, a different vehicle, but still). Plus I had to pay the obligatory dealer processing fee of $695. Of course, your New Jersey dealer has the 2015 X5 and he probably wants to clear it off the lot as the 2016 will arrive soon. Thus, your 10% off list price, to me, is fantastic.

This is the deal I just got on email, I'm not impressed by the sales price though. Looks like 5% on MSRP. I also don't understand why the money factor is stated as 1.3, haven't have chance to talk to the dealer yet.
Can someone evaluate this for me through a lease calculator to see if the numbers are right? Term 36 Months Mileage 12,000/year Money Factor 1.3 Residual Factor 57% TOTAL AS EQUIPPED $66,645.00 Selling Price $63,085.00 Total Capitalized Cost $63,085.00 Residual Value $37,987.65 Total Depreciation $25,097.35 Capital Reduction ($0.00) Monthly Depreciation $697.15 Monthly Rent $131.39 Monthly Payment $828.54 Tax (9%) $74.57 Monthly Payment + Tax $903.11 Capital Reduction ($0.00) Cap Reduction Tax (9%) $78.75 License & Registration $545.00 Bank Fee $795.00 Documentation Fee $80.00 First Payment $903.11 Security Deposit $0.00 Drive Off $2,401.86 Trade Equity $0.00 Rebate $0.00 Due at Signing $2,401.86 |

2016 X5 Lease Pricing
So, wife and I get back home from dealership and start looking over the numbers for a new 2016 X5 xDrive35i. Something just doesn't look right.
Here are the rough numbers quoted: Term: 36 Months Mileage: 12,000/year Money Factor: .00170 (Not happy about this right now; yeah right 4.09%!!! Elite FICO score sure as heck not paying that!) Residual Factor: 57% (Approx. $37,773.89) TOTAL AS EQUIPPED: $66,270.00 Discount (USAA ($500) + Dealer Discount): -$4,110 Total Selling/Adjusted Price: $62,160.00 Invoice: $61,660.00 Acq. Fee: +$995.00 Processing Fee: + $299.00 MD Tax (6%): +$3,747.54 Non Tax Fees: +$331.00 Net Price: $66,537.54 What am I missing here? Something like this is gonna run me roughly $1k monthly payment. Not what the wife is looking for. I didn't do anything in form of negotiating, literally just mentioned USAA, and he says, "right now they're giving $500 off for lease. But I can usually add that, plus some extra discounts to give you roughly -$4,110 in savings." Yeah, and in same breath, he's jacking up the money factor to recoup his discounts given. How much of that is negotiable? And turns out I'd have to order a 2016, because apparently for what we're looking for, 2015 not out there, which I thought was surprising. Thoughts? |

If you don't mind try to look for the 2015 X5 which is exactly the same as 2016 . This way you can get something that you like from Dealer Inventory . I picked up mine yesterday with Premium, DA Plus, DA and Cold Weather at 10% discount at the list price in NJ . I had looked into the inventory of dealership vehicles all the way to Boston and Philly but luckily found what I was looking here itself . |

However, from a numbers perspective though, looks like their screwing me (or trying to anyway) on the MF of .00170. I assume the MF is set across the board no matter where you live? Naturally, I'd like to negotiate it as close to .0013 as possible. Anyone have any insight into this? Thanks again!!! |

My advice would be to deal with a dealership or individual that doesn't dick you around from the start. There are a couple of dealerships that sponsor here on the boards. My advice would be talk with Greg Poland at Pacific BMW.

Ya , That includes all incentives .
No dealer I found was ready to go below their quoted number by any means . 10% also brings you significantly below the truecar price as well . |

I think the incentives for the X5 are the 1000 Ultimate Drive Event, college grad, maybe a couple more but they're not really advertised.

Yeah, seen that and did the same as you, then read closer and see no on the X5, no Ultimate Drive events around here, kind of feel this is a poor promotion when they don't make it available to everyone in every area. Oh well.
