panel gap between A pillars and fenders, normal?

Just noticed this today. Anyone else with f15 x5 have the same?

Don't know what your issue is. Those look fine to me. If you really want to pick a fight about gap in panels, go to your nearest parking lot and start paying attention to them Tesla's. After you check theirs out, you'll think BMW's gaps are superb.

The piece from the fender is sticking out, like it's too far away from the car.

Couldn't really tell from the way your picture shows. But those fenders are made of fiberglass or some ABS variant. They are not metal. And they are secured by some M6 or M8 screws from multiple different locations. If this car's not been wrecked before, you probably can look for those screws and re-push and screw them again to get that protrusion down. I know this because I had to change out the windshield fluid reservoir and had to take the entire fender panel off. And I followed the original exact screw location to put everything back on, everything's flush. Best luck, buddy.

Thanks, I took it to re reputable body shop for their opinion and they said it just kinda varies on the X5s they've worked on. They checked the alignment of the panel etc. so leaving it for now.
