Cilajet - Interior and Exterior - Feedback
So, After much research and talking with friends...I have decided to get the CilaJet treatment done. I have done this after a month since I picked the car from the factory.
They have detailed the CAR inside and out. (well, new car) The CAR shines like a new Gold Coin after the treatment and I can notice the difference. The interior is also done along with wheels. I am bit worried of applying chemical to leather seats but i don't notice any difference after the treatment. I have noticed a mild chemical smell but I think it will be gone in a day or two. Good part is that it will come with 10 year warranty with another application due at 5th year. Warranty includes, stain protection, exterior protection etc. Overall, I am happy. |

NewbimmerX5 thanks for the photos. Is your truck Sapphire Black or Jet Black? Looks like a Jet to me.
What other options did you consider other than cilajet that sounded like good options? What made you choose coating versus film application? Thanks |

Done with Modesta
Here are some exterior pics of my X5 which was delivered the 17th in the Netherlands, Car was detailed by A1 Car Cleaning the following way:
car is washed & cleaned with CG D-con iron particles remover removed some glue residue and degreased with SH 7010 paint was tiptop, no scuff marks whatsoever paint is polished with Rupes 21 Bigfoot and Modesta Primer P-01a paint and wheels are coated with Modesta coating BC-05 glass is coated with Ceramic Pro Rain They did a SUPERB job in my opinion. And I'm delighted they found the time to detail my car. |

I had my new car done and have had my other cars done with cilajet. The thing to remember is do NOT wax your car if treated with cilajet. I will dull your car's finish over time. Just use water and sometimes use Windex.
