It's a free market and there's a market for everything.
You're more than free to make your own choice and buy something that will not last long.
At least for tires, I would look for something that'd last me, say a couple of summers.

Again, best tires around for summer.

At least one tire measurement is showing yellow, so it can't be at 6/32. But they aren't labeled so hard to know if its just one tire or more than one; some of the images are also blurry/too much motion to know exactly.

Assuming these are 285/35 and 325/30 21" inch tires? (Never explicitly stated in post)
DOT dates?
Change your mind on shipping? UPS will even come pick them up from you if its too much a pain to drop them off.

I just went out and probed them. it's a pain to take pics at every part of every tire but all the center channels are green. where you start to see bits of yellow are on some of the shoulder channels. none of them goes to 5/32nd fully so more like range between 5.5/32nd to almost 7 depending on tire and center/shoulder.

I'll call UPS to see what their shipping deal is with tires.

thanks for your reply

There is a shipping calculator on its site.
As for tread depth, I think you just need to show the lowest of the center channels in each tire. Folks will get a sense of the overall condition.
Doing all of them is an overkill.

I disagree on that. The lowest of all channels matter as that will truly tell you about tire life and be important for passing inspection if your state requires it.

So you're saying he needs to do all channels in every tire?
That would really discourage to even think about selling them...too much work!

People have done it before. It takes seconds to measure a channel, not requesting pics of everything. The better a post as far as details, the faster a sale and less questions asked. If someone wants to sell, they will/should provide as much info as possible. It protects both seller and buyer reputation and is kind to forum member. Tires on these cars tend to wear uneven due to the camber and weight; so its deceiving reporting a center channel at 5/32 if your side channel is 3/32 - someone would be none to happy if that was the case.

thanks, I updated the post. shade over 5/32 on shoulder channel, a good 6.5/32nd in center channels.
