lol guess you didn't wonder where the wheel gap was when purchasing the vehicle. Lucky find for sure. And the dealer probably didn't know about it cuz they didn't look.

No way they just "missed it" during an inspection or didn't want to use that as a selling feature if they did in deed know. I don't buy that "they didn't know what it costs". Even a 5 year knows what google is lol.

Hope you get that thing a PPI and love every minute of driving it hard.

I pre-bought them in anticipation of finding a stock height X5. lol The dealer knew it was lowered but I really think they had no idea the cost of them.

I had a PPI done everything checked out just has a slight oil leak they said. My warranty company should cover it if it gets bad enough.

Be careful with the "slight" oil leak via PPI. I went through the same thing with my F86. Ended up being a pan gasket and 17 hour job at the $tealer. Entire sub frame had to be removed to get the pan out. Enjoy the car they are great!!

How come you didn't ask them to repair after it was found in the ppi? Just curious

Its not a bonus selling feature, because most individuals looking for a used car aren't going to care about that feature or think its worth extra. Can't sell a car without shocks and springs and the dealer didn't have to fork over money to replace anything. Often that doesn't impact dealers selling price. My F16 and F85, both came with a full set of winter rims/tires and the dealers didn't try to justify the price based off those. To people on this forum its a bonus.

Still doesn't mean they wouldn't have tried to use it as a attractive feature. They may not have marked it up for it understandably given it's quite used. But they would do the same if it was M suspension and they would do the same if they knew it had coil overs vs standard non M suspension which this car had.

If you've found a brand new set for $220 shipped (they're over $300 at most places online) you should just buy them now & stop low-balling people on this forum.

Not to mention this thread is nearly a year and a half old, doubtful the seller still has them.
