Here is what Dinan states: Dinan Performance Products are warranted for a 2-year, unlimited mileage period from the date of original purchase. Dinan’s warranties are transferable when ownership of the vehicle into which the Dinan products were originally installed is sold.

Now it does say 2 years from original date of purchase, so I'm guessing that would require a receipt of some sort to file for the warranty.

I bought the unit online (not through dealership), so it is not tied to any particular car or purchase date. I never registered it, and when I checked on the Dinan website to see if was registered, it does not show up. So shouldn't need to transfer, as I never registered it.

I hope that answers your question...

Purchased from x-ph on 12/24/17, installed 2/8/18, removed 8/24/18, been sitting in the cabinet every since. Time to get rid of items I don't need anymore.

Dinan warranties are VIN specific. I had a Dinan stage 3 on my BMW M3.

It's amazing that something so coveted a couple of years ago does not sell at a quarter of the original price
I sought a used one at 1300 a year and a half ago but would need the electronic wastegate, which the Xdrive does not have.
I contacted Dinan, but their customer service is horrible.. Never returned my messages on obtaining one.
I think RC has taken over the piggyback market, plus the flash tunes are so convinient.

Oh Lord...some people around here keep looking for trouble.
I guess a moderator can determine whether this is thread - crapping, or thread crapping is what these folks do for living in public forums.

All xdrives, regardless of year, have the mechanical/pneumatic? I hadn't seen that, was thinking about getting this.

It's unclear. When I contacted Dinan the first time and got through, they told me only MSport cars carry the wastegate.
It's definitely installable though.
This is a heck of deal, I suggest you contact them.

As listed in the original post, this is for vehicles with N55 engines, and an electronic wastegate.

Here is the entire list of vehicles this would work on (per Dinan technical assistance group). The program/software is the same for these vehicles.
F10 - 535i, 535i xDrive
F15/F16 - X5 sDrive/xDrive, X6 sDrive/xDrive
F22/F23 - M235i, M235i xDrive
F30 - 335i, 335i xDrive
F32/F33/F36 - 435i, 435i xDrive

The 'X' in the part number signifies it has additional moisture protection (waterproofing).
