I have scheduled to get the stage 3 flashed this weekend by a dealer. Its $50 cheaper if you get a dealer to flash it. Ill share my thoughts.

Is this available for the f15 35d yet? They said it would be done by the end of summer.
I used it on my 11 335d and it was a great mod. Very easy DIY flash. |

You need a direct connection to the car with your cellphone thru either Bluetooth or wifi using an OBD adapter.

You can try but I know the xHP software is picky about the adapter you use to connect to the car. Go ahead and connect it with the adapter you have and see if xHP detects and connects to your car, if it does then you should be fine, otherwise you will need to get one of the adapters they recommend using for the upgrade.

Been running XHP for over a year, no issues whatsoever. Makes driving much more pleasant.

With faster shifts it's less wear.
Think of a manual car, if you slowly let out on the clutch it wears your clutch plate out faster. Same with automatics, fast and firm shifts wear less due to less slipping before fully engauged |

This may be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway.
To do the trans tune with Xhp, does the dme have to be unlocked?? |

It can CatalinP, if your full throttle shifting all the time. But for everyday driving is crisper but not jarring or even close. Just a more positive shift.
Only time I can feel it being "jarring or a shock to the transmission" is in manual shifting and high rpm I run stage 3 tune, love the higher line pressure and confidence in holding power. Pairs great with MHD stage 2 plus tune. |
