Vredestein quatrac pro - pics

Just had my conti DWS06 replaced after a 2 year run. the 20s seems to wear tires fast!! So far the vredestein seem very comparable, maybe less road noise compared to DWS. It's only been a couple hours so don't know yet about spirited driving, but the review all look positive. Just wanted to share on here in case anyone is also looking for a replacement. I think they look Great too!

Have about 5000 miles on my set. No complaints at all. Great tires.

They sorta look like winter tires.

I agree. The reviews say they perform great in the snow for an all season tire. I'm in NY and too lazy to switch between summer/winter set so this works for me.

Sounds good. I'm curious to long term reviews of these tires.

I am about to pull the trigger for a set. I hope they live up to the very favorable reviews.

They do look like winter tires vs. performance tires. But I have always heard good things about Vredestein.

So far I'm 3k miles in and no complaints. The DWS are definitely more geared toward performance and you can tell the difference between both tires. Both great choices!

Is your statement that the DWS are more performance oriented based on your personal experience?

100% dws feels more performance! I can't explain in detail, but the vredestein's just seem more boring? Comfort goes to the vredestein.

I was looking for a all season with good snow capability. Time will tell.

I understand. It must be the rubber compound difference.

I have had my new set of Vredesteins mounted yesterday and my initial impression is that the car is riding "softer" and the response to the steering wheel inputs are a fraction slower in comparison to the Pirelli P Zeros. I believe it is due to the sidewall stiffness of the runflat P Zeros. But the ride comfort is much improved and the road noise is much less. P Zeros were transmitting almost everything on the road surface into the cabin but the Vredesteins absorb little bumps and holes very good.

In comparison to the DWS tires that I had on my two previous F10 vehicles, Vredestein feels slightly softer and less noisy. I was able to drive thru a couple of large water puddles and there is almost zero aquaplanning. Time will tell how well they are in colder temperatures and if they live up to the "three-peak mountain snowflake symbol" rating on them in snow and on ice.

Hi, I have a new set of Bridgestone Dueler's H/P Sport Rft on my 469m wheels on Xdrive 35i and got stuck in the snow. My car also rolled off the driveway when I parked in snow even with the parking brake set and the car was off & locked so car went into autonomous mode pretty much. So I am looking to get these based on the reviews on tire rack. Can you guys give me any feedback on the VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO tires? Since the tire on my car now is summer tires then in winter my car becomes useless unless I switch to winter tires but I don't have the time to switch tires all the time so I need all-in-one solution tires+ my city weather is bipolar. Thanks

Shudder

Hello Everyone, I just fitted Quadrac Pros to my F15 35d XDrive M-Sport (staggered) last week and am now getting slight shuddering and very low speeds. I read elsewhere on this forum that this is somehow due to Rolling Circumference being different from BMW Star marked tires. Anyone else experiencing this and if so, how was it solved? The shudder comes from the X drive trying to deal with tires rotating at different speeds and can damage the system…

Thanks - and Happy New Year to you all.

I have these in staggered set up as well, no issues as far as you got the right tire size.

Been running the same tires staggered for over 10k now. Zero issues.

I just got away from my Michelins Pilot Sports A/S 3+. For some reason, right about the 20k mark, they developed severely uneven wear and were making nasty road noise. I ordered some Toyos until I could get my hands on some Bridgestones Alenza A/S Ultra, but they didn't come in on time and Discount Tire didn't tell me until I arrived for my appointment. So they slapped on some DWS 06+ with no extra charge.

Apparently, these Alenzas are hot stuff. Discount tire is trying to source them for me. I cannot wait to see if the hype is true.

I was a bridge stone customer until i realized they don't back there own products when theres issues so there no confidence for me to even purchase them. Conti customer service has been crazy good that i can't look back. There roadside program is very good aswell.

Yeah, this is one area where I go a little softer. Typically 33/36 on the square 19s. Rides A LOT better and I’m not driving this thin fast or loading it up too much.

Tire wear seems to be be very even all around with 25k miles on DWS 06+
