I tried to code the below in expert mode via Bimmercode on our 2018 X5 and for some reason don't have expert mode in ICMQL module to be able to go in and adjust this.

Also - I was not able to code the number of turn signal blinks either, as I could not find the command that was listed in the cheat sheat on Bimmercode.

Thanks for the help!

2. Look for the ICMQL Module, then go to expert mode and look for 3000 Daten section. Select it and then search or scroll to find C_ZSW_Aktivierunggeschwindigkeit_Funktion_low, select it and change the speed.

Bimmercode has the old FDL for turn signal blinks. You will have to use expert mode.

Thanks for the feedback. When I went in expert mode for turnsignal, I did not see the command name that was in the cheat, unless I just missed it.

Also - are you not able to code Blind Spot speed through Bimmercode? For some reason it did not have expert mode in that module.

Thanks!

I do not have Bimmercode, so I know not.

There are two. Did you search PIA_DEFAULT_TIP?

Yeah I'm trying to get into expert mode under ICMQL and it's not there for me either. I email support but haven't heard back...

It took me a few weeks to realize I had to push the side of the stalk to activate wiper intervals. Initially I thought my my interval knob was broken 🤣

Well, that I know not if supported by App. You do realize that you can also achieve Sport+ by holding down DSC?

I used Carly exclusively on my X1, but I use Bimmercode to code my X5. Since I'm a DIYer (and there's no free BMW maintenance in Europe) I've kept the Carly and use it on the X5 to reset the maintenance warnings, which I do not believe Bimmercode can do.

I'll be using Esys this weekend to see if I can turn off the "easy exit" adjustment of the steering column. I just want it to move from my profile setting to my wife's, depending on who's driving.

Hi! I have X5 M50D with Black Cluster. Can't figure out how to set M50D logo. There is no cluster logo option in Bimmercode. I've tried it with advanced setting, but don't understand what to set. There are a lot of options:
X5
X5_med
X5_high

You have older I level, so that function worked for you, and I liked it better as it was possible to choose 3,4 or 5 blinkers. With newer I level software the function is different PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN and you are limited to 1, 3 or 5 blinkers

Do you know if the older CIC can be coded? I tried to change my 2013 650iX GC...but it wouldn’t take.

It has the FRM (footwell module) and I can find the line of coding in the FRM Module under 3060—> BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP ...and can change the code line like I did on the X5...but it still blinks only 3 times. I wonder if there’s another line of coding that is required for the FRM module?

Thanks for the reply...and the 2013 650iX GC (grand coupe`) is an f06 chassis...4dr version of the 2dr f12/f13 vert & coupe....and I’m using the Bimmercode app (if anyone is following this and attempting to code for the NBT/ID4 version of iDrive).

The 2011-12 f12/f12 & 2013 f06/f11/f13 came with the last iteration of the CIC iDrive...the f chassis 6 series got the NBT/ID4 version of iDrive starting with the 2014 model year (in the US market).

After a dealer visit to install my mppk, I lost my coded ambient light, 5 blinkers.

I was able to recover my ambient lights with more options in color but my 5 blinkers are gone, can not find them
