I tried to code the below in expert mode via Bimmercode on our 2018 X5 and for some reason don't have expert mode in ICMQL module to be able to go in and adjust this.
Also - I was not able to code the number of turn signal blinks either, as I could not find the command that was listed in the cheat sheat on Bimmercode. Thanks for the help! |

Thanks for the feedback. When I went in expert mode for turnsignal, I did not see the command name that was in the cheat, unless I just missed it.
Also - are you not able to code Blind Spot speed through Bimmercode? For some reason it did not have expert mode in that module. Thanks! |

It took me a few weeks to realize I had to push the side of the stalk to activate wiper intervals. Initially I thought my my interval knob was broken 🤣

I used Carly exclusively on my X1, but I use Bimmercode to code my X5. Since I'm a DIYer (and there's no free BMW maintenance in Europe) I've kept the Carly and use it on the X5 to reset the maintenance warnings, which I do not believe Bimmercode can do.
I'll be using Esys this weekend to see if I can turn off the "easy exit" adjustment of the steering column. I just want it to move from my profile setting to my wife's, depending on who's driving.

Hi! I have X5 M50D with Black Cluster. Can't figure out how to set M50D logo. There is no cluster logo option in Bimmercode. I've tried it with advanced setting, but don't understand what to set. There are a lot of options:

I was just able to code my 2014 X5 to five blinks using Bimmercode expert mode . I was coding the BDC module...go to: 3068 > BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP ...then change CUSTOM VALUE to 0x04

You have older I level, so that function worked for you, and I liked it better as it was possible to choose 3,4 or 5 blinkers. With newer I level software the function is different PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN and you are limited to 1, 3 or 5 blinkers

Do you know if the older CIC can be coded? I tried to change my 2013 650iX GC...but it wouldn’t take. It has the FRM (footwell module) and I can find the line of coding in the FRM Module under 3060—> BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP ...and can change the code line like I did on the X5...but it still blinks only 3 times. I wonder if there’s another line of coding that is required for the FRM module?

The 2011-12 f12/f12 & 2013 f06/f11/f13 came with the last iteration of the CIC iDrive...the f chassis 6 series got the NBT/ID4 version of iDrive starting with the 2014 model year (in the US market).
