H&R lowering springs

New user and new to BMWs. Took my x6 to the shop yesterday to have the springs installed. The rear has the air bags. After Installation it didn’t look much of a difference. But once I started driving and got to work(about 30 mins away) the rear was slammed and the ride quality felt terrible. Will the car adjust ? Newbie

How many miles on the X6, and do you know if the airbags have ever been replaced?
Also, it's a possibility that the shop who installed the springs, could have damaged something in the airbag set up.
A leak can end up being very costly to repair, if not dealt with right away.
Air compressor constantly running because of a leak, can burn out.
I suggest get it checked by a shop asap.

I'm assuming you replaced the springs up front and then the shop lowered the rear airbags via coding the car (you recalibrate the ride height by taking some of the air our of the airbag) this will result in a stiffer drive as you lose some of the dampening effect of the airbag. You can always take it back and ask them to raise it a little so the ride improves?
