The 5 blink code used to be available and I had it coded. Then after a trip to the dealer it stopped working. I tried to code it again but the option has been removed. To bad, I think 3 is not enough, 5 was perfect.

I was able to code 5 blinks a while ago, but there was an update recently. wonder why programmer would take that off.. I really do like 5 blinks much better than 3

Any software updates will erase any coding previously done. You will have to re code to get 5 blinks again.

Are the codes same names in esys? If yes, shouldn't we be able to read/edit them with bummer code ?

Never tried bimmercode, as do all my coding with esys. But bimmercode users Use the same function names as I see in esys. That makes me think that they are the same. Just check the cheat sheet from the official coding thread and compare the functions with the ones you use with bimmercode

Please check with bimmercode if you can find this one :
PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN
Saw several people asking for the blinker coding after update. That’s what I coded with esys for 5 blinkers

I did my coding with esys and engine running, there suppose to be three values to choose from, not sure how bimmercode works.

Weird. I was wondering if I could make it less like 2 flashes, which seems enough for switching lanes.

2, you must change lanes at a 90 degree angle.

No, but 5 flashes will get me across 3 lanes minimum. 🙂

Back on 10/17/2020...I posted that I was able to change my 2014 f15 X5 to 5 blinks using the Bimmercode app.

The OP mentioned they couldn't find BLINKZYKLEN...did you try using the search feature in Bimmercode? In the IOS version...you can type "blinkzyklen" in the search box when you've gone into the EXPERT MODE and go to the 3068 selections.

Just checked it, you found it right, the value should be 02 for five blinkers
