22 inch tire help

Just bought a set of 22 inch rims for my 2016 f16 22x10 front 22x11 back offsets are +40 for the front +35 for the rear and I’m trying to come up with a tire combination that is as close to stock as possible. I don’t want to add spacers or anything and I don’t want to affect the xdrive any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're after a flush look more than likely you're going to need to add spacers. With the sensitivity of the transfer case you have stay within 1% overall circumference of OEM wheels/tires. 295/30/R22 front 335/25/R22 rear. I don't think spacers will void your warranty and even if so simply yank them off before you take into the stealership for work.

ThatÂ’s the set up that I was looking to do but really trying to avoid the spacers. What set up will keep me within the 1%?

In terms of warranty, running 22" wheels is not allowed, so spacers will not make any difference.

The mentioned setup is right around 1% and the most common 22" tire sizes used on this forum so rest assured it should work just fine w/ your transfer case.

Depends! Are you m-sport, x-line, or luxury? I'm assuming all 3 trims come in the X6 as in X5.

Which means you have the flared wheel arches so more than likely you're going to need spacers for that flush look. Now if you're ok w/ them being sucken in a bit then no spacers required. I believe what you listed are the same offsets as my 22's and I went w/ H&R 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers and it's perfectly flush.

I have this setup on my rims and as far as I know i'm above that 1%, actually at 1.4%. I'm actually trying to get rid of this setup.

How is it that you come of with percentages ? And what issues are you having with this set up? I’ve ordered my tires already with this set up trying to prepare for any issues. Researching spacers now which I tried to avoid

For the winter I had my 20 inch rims on, now I switched to 22s and started getting the ticking noise during the acceleration. I'm not sure if it's because of 22s but i will be putting back on my 20s to see if the problem goes away.

as an option i'm thinking of just switching the front tire from 295/30/22 to 285/30/22, that way i'll be getting 0.5% difference which is within the 1% margin.

Already ordered the tires don’t even want to think about the headache of sending them back

You shouldn't have an issue. Very few do.

It will turnout great, just like mine did, but beware you'll prob not like the wheel/fender gap so be prepared to buy springs or coilovers in the near future. I've had my wheel/tire combo 1.5 yrs and just now getting around to coilovers. Can't wait to get them installed.
